Bucket Elevators

Bucket Elevators are available with capacity ranges from 50 MTPH to 1,500 MTPH.

Bucket Elevators combine rugged durability with gentleness in grain handling. The exclusive head follows the low profile path of the discharged grain, virtually eliminating impact areas that can damage grain. Our design couples proper bucket spacing with precisely timed belt speed to ensure optimum grain delivery. Safety and ease of maintenance are designed into every elevator.

Bucket Elevators comes Standard with:
Heavy-Duty Head with Motor Mount and Discharge Hopper, Boot with adaptor, Inspection Section, Trunking Sections, Shaft Mounted Reducer Drive with Backstop, Head Service Platform, Ladder and Safety Cage with Rest Platform, Plastic Buckets, PVC Belt and 3 phase Motor.

Head Section:
The Head is made from heavy gauge steel with versatile heavy-duty motor mount. Unique head design allows the grain to flow down the discharge without impacting on the head, and also helps prevent discharging grain prematurely. The head pulley utilizes the XT Bushing System developed especially for Bucket Elevator application. This system provides a better-concentrated grip to help eliminate the possibility of the pulley "walking the shaft".

The standard slide lagging or vulcanized rubber lagging used is oil resistant, static conducting and fire retardant. Pulley lagging inspection openings on both sides of the head housing are standard. These doors are positioned directly across from each other to provide additional convenience when replacing pulley lagging without removing the pulley from the head housing.

Trunking sections are rolled, lock formed, with flanges continuously welded to the casing. Each section is evaluated with digital Clinometers to ensure straight, twist-free trunking. The PVC belting is covered on both sides, and is static conductive and fire-retardant with high tensile strength. The standard length of trunking section is 3.05m.
A complete line of polyethylene buckets is offered with either PVC or rubber covered belting. They are light-weighted and sparkle-free. Urethane or nylon buckets can be provided for extreme applications. Steel Cups are optional.

Boot section. Bolt together boots are standardly manufactured from heavy gauge steel with heavy-duty pillow block bearings mounted on a heavy-duty boot shaft. Our unique hat section bottom panel is built 57.15 mm off the ground to prevent material from standing in shallow water.

Between the boot side panel and the bearing take up plate is 3 mm thick UHMW plastic sheet to act both a shaft seal and bearing surface for no seize travel of the bearing take up plate.

There are several inspection doors on the boot section, including two pulley bushing access doors, which allow inspection and maintenance of bushings. An inspection door located on each side of the boot section provides access to the XT Bushing System on the heavy-duty drum or self-cleaning winged pulley. Both manual and gravity type take up boot sections are offered.
